"I am handing over the paper work and the keys to one of our Nords to a Frenchman at Toulose, (the factory). We had to fly a check flight to show them everything still worked.  They thought we were trying to put something over on them when I told them we couldn't make a coupled approach because we had no autopilot.  I found out later the test pilot I flew with was the guy who did most of the initial test flying on the concorde." - Mitch
